With 2020 being what it is, staying at home for days is the new normal. We used to have so many activities to do. But now, we are very limited in the things we can do. Looking on the positive side, there is no better time like the present to start being creative.
And here are 3 reasons why!
Be creative for the motivation
Most of us feel frustrated and discouraged with the current situation. We need some feel good boost ever so often. By doing a creative activity, it helps keep our mind off the blues. Take some time to do a little baking, painting or dancing. We shift our focus and energy into something fun. And when we are happier, we can look our situation with a positive mind.
Be creative for the possibilities
I was never into designing before. I only started meddling with photoshop because I wanted to get a particular job. And it was through the job, I found a love for designing and creating something out of nothing. Which lead me to the path where I am today.
When you ventured into something creative, the possibilities are endless. It could open doors for you professionally or personally. Who knows? Maybe it could be a way to bring you and your loved ones closer together.
Be creative for YOU
Being creative is expressing yourself. Revealing your true personality. Putting the emotions you have at the moment on display. Everyone has a different way of doing things in a creative way. For some, it is through playing a musical instrument. For others, it could be doodling or colouring. There are people who express their creativity with food like cooking or baking. Whatever you choose to do is uniquely you. And no one can take that away from you.
So do take a moment of your schedule for some creative time and who knows you might have a new skill to end 2020 on a good note!
